For Fall-Winter 21, Acne Studios joined house friend and former collaborator Grant Levy Lucero. Inspired by western gas stations, hand-painted signage and pop advertising from around California, the LA-based artist created a series of exclusive prints that have been translated onto organic cotton garments in warm ivory tones.
"I'm constantly drawn to absurdity and branding, which is where the start of the print collaboration came from - taking these things and making them more sincere or putting it into something more real. I like to think I'm adding to Acne Studios in some way and really proud to be able to contribute to any sort of vernacular that Acne Studios uses." - Lucero on the inspiration for the exclusive capsule collection with Acne Studios.
