STEL represents the next chapter in Andersen’s evolving design journey, grounded in her refined philosophy of creating fashion that combines style, movement, and comfort. The brand’s core vision is to produce versatile, empowering pieces that prioritize both freedom of movement and practicality.

Astrid’s journey began at the Royal College of Art, where she earned a Master’s in Menswear and won the Brioni Creativity and Innovation Award. In 2010, she launched her namesake label, focused on menswear, blending sportswear silhouettes with luxurious fabrics and precision tailoring. Her innovative approach earned her a nomination for Vogue Italia’s Talent 2010, and she was later part of the Fashion East programme in 2013. Recognized by figures like A$AP Rocky and M.I.A, Astrid expanded into womenswear in 2017, debuting her first full women’s collection at Copenhagen Fashion Week.

Astrid's goal is to bridge the gap between refined tailoring and everyday practicality. As she puts it, STEL is “tailoring you can skate in, denim you can dance in, and shirting you can travel in”—clothing designed for real life, real bodies, and real movement.

With expertise honed during her studies at the Royal College of Art in London, Andersen is known for blending sportswear with tailoring, always focusing on functionality and freedom of movement. STEL brings this same energy to a broader, more inclusive audience, empowering individuals with clothing that adapts to their dynamic lifestyles.

STEL is for those who expect more from their clothing: pieces that move with you, adapt to your day, and empower you to live life on your own terms. No matter what you are doing, STEL helps you navigate life with confidence and style.

Designed to transcend seasonal trends, STEL offers timeless, adaptable pieces built for longevity and personal expression. With a focus on "realness" and functionality, STEL ensures that its designs are not only stylish but also wearable and empowering.
